Arte Indigena

The Guna (also known as Kuna) are an Indigenous people residing in autonomous regions of Panama and parts of northern Colombia. They have preserved their vibrant culture and traditions for centuries.

This virtual museum showcases the distinctive art of the Guna people—creative expressions that remain largely unknown to much of the world.

More complex designs, influenced by foreign graphic sources and a growing tourists market.

Heavily influenced by an export market, styles and trends shifted towards western aesthetics.
